if we are going to play it this way the lb or safety has to get there
That JD is still the team's leading TD receptions leader and both CS and Tmac have 3+ times the number of receptions he does is a pretty sad state imo. Whatever the case may be, TH not seeing the field or not looking for the certain players. I wouldn't be surprised if some players are starting to feel some kinda way about it. Samuel only has 14 t.argets combined over the last 5 games. JD only has 4 targets over the last 3 games and 2 receptions for 27 yards in that span. And that pass to JD last week was one of the shittiest decision made by a QB last week and only compounded by how shitty of a pass it was.Not lost at all. Samuels had no targets today, one catch the week before and 2 catches the week before that. Some might say TH is not seeing the entire field or looking for these guys. Dotson in less games still leads all WRs in TDs, Wentz was the QB.
Hmmm, I would like to see how the math was done on this ^^^^^^^
The tweet was from November 22. Just thought I would point that out.Hmmm, I would like to see how the math was done on this ^^^^^^^
The Skins have scored 4 TDs in the last 2 weeks.
Houston
Kendall Fuller pick 6
Curtis Samuel's 10 yard run on 2nd dn
Against Houston the Skins were 3-13 on 3rd dn and 2-2 on 4th dn
Atlanta
Brob's 14 yard TD pass from Taylor on 1st dn
John Bates 16 yd TD pass from Taylor on 1st dn
Against Atlanta the Skins were 5-12 on 3rd dn and 1-1 on 4th dn
So how do no Taylor TD passes on 3rd or 4th down and going 8-27 on 3rd down or less than 30% or just under 41% when you add the 3/3 on 4th dn come up to those glossy 3rd n 4th down stats for Taylor?

Well that is very helpful and insightful indeed. Thank you for that. The tweet was from November 22. Just thought I would point that out.

Kind of dispels the "they are running the same offense" folks.
Of course it’s not the same offense. We were behind most of the games Carson was the QB, requiring more passes. Could Carson run this basic offense? Sure. But he would also give up 2-3 sacks a game that TH avoids. Those could, and have, change the complexion of the entire game.Kind of dispels the "they are running the same offense" folks. Not that I disagree with what Turner is doing, this is the style of offense that benefits Heinicke.
How? That is talking about our defense struggling with read option isn’t it?Kind of dispels the "they are running the same offense" folks. Not that I disagree with what Turner is doing, this is the style of offense that benefits Heinicke.
I would disagree somewhat. Kurt Warner did a piece on CW this off season going through his mechanics, footwork, accuracy (issues) etc. One thing he pointed out was that CW was very decisive with the football and seemed to read defenses well enough to support his decision making. Kurt Warner's words, not mine. Perhaps this offense he didn't know very well has affected his decisiveness and decision making.Of course it is part on the coordinator but CW has to take the blame on many sacks. He has no idea how to move within the pocket because he does not see the pressure. His awareness is just about the worst I have ever seen. CW lacks the ability to see a play developing, be decisive, and get rid of the ball.
