IMO....other than the Tech debacle

Road tested: The game being in Stillwater will not be as big of factor as it may seem. OU started off playing FSU, at Doak Cambell Stadium, it was a nightgame, and Gameday was there. It was a frenzy, played at KSU, for the Wildcats homecoming who were undefeated at the time.

Defense: Okie State hasn't seen a defense like OU's. No one close. OU's points against average 19. They are 2nd in the NCAA in sacks. Everyone should be back and healthy.

Coaching: Mike Gundy hasn't beaten Bob Stoops, not saying he can't, but he hasn't. Bob Stoops and his staff have one uped Gundy continueously.

But if we lose odds are Landry Jones did something. Perhaps someone in the crowd waved and it rattled him, or someone on defense gets within 3 feet of Jones he is done for the game. OU has a great record, and Jones has some amazing stats..... but if you saw the catches the recievers have made, that is why.

OSU's only chance is to get pressure on Jones.....he doesn't do too well with pressure, and he's probably been sacked like 5 times the entire season. Rattle him and he WILL give you the ball.

On the flip side, OU has NOBODY that can cover Justin Blackmon, nobody. Weeden is a smart QB, he takes what you give him. And OU fans GREATLY overestimate their defense. It's nowhere near as good as you guys seem to think it is. Great LBs......the rest is dubious at best. Undersized front four. JOKE of a secondary. OSU will score some points. The question is whether they can shut down the OU offense.

OU is 4th in tackles for loss and 1st in sacks. Weeden better hope he can get the ball to Blackmon.

There you go again with mindless babble.

Aside from the Tech debacle where we had our MLB, #1 CB and a DL out, the defense has been very efficient and effective this year considering the type of offenses they have played.

allowing 30% 3rd down conversion - 7th in the nation
74 tackles for loss - 4th in the nation
Lead the nation in sacks with 34
allowing 19 ppg - 20th in the nation
allwing 360 ypg - 46th in the nation

They have played some of the best offenses in the nation and have two of the best left on the schedule. You are just an OU hater and always have been and OU is always overrated and sucks and their team is shit, every year. Every Year! I know this for fact because I am the same way with Texas.

The two best common opponents are K-State and Texas. Oklahoma killed them both, while OK State struggled with both. I never saw the Oklahoma-Texas Tech game (I was to busy watching a certain Hail Mary make me want to kill myself), but i've seen both teams 3+ times and I think Oklahoma has looked better. They have an awesome D-Line and a secondary that is at least tolerable. Offensively, the edge goes to OK State, but i'm not sure it's good enough to make up for the difference in the quality of defenses.

Some of the best offenses in the nation? Refresh my memory.

the kstate texas argument is meaningless since osu gutted a tech team in lubbock that beat ou in norman
