i watched episode 1 , looked really good im not a huge kevin spacey fan, hes either great or i hate him
It's all about Kevin Spacey. If you dont like him, you won't like the series.

what do you mean they didn't try to jump the shark?

When a television starts to run out of decent scenarios, they often start to get really outside the realm of the original inytentof the series. The production people call it "jumping the shark" because it's nearly impossible to jump over a shark and the series plots are abnormal.

Cool television jargon.

I always thought it was based on this...

fonzi literally jumped a shark, and it coincided with the show getting ridiculous and past it's figurative due date, and has since been used to state a show sucks now, and they should wrap it up.

You're probably correct. When I heard it it a few years ago, I went looking for the reason and found what I previously stated. Both make perfect sense.

you are correct. It is when a show has a moment that changes the direction or the fandom of the show as that people start losing interest. It doesn't necessarily need to be a ridiculous moment, it could just be a storyline change or character change that starts pushing people away from the show.

Nope not madmen or breaking bad

and mind hunter episode 1 is terrible

striking out, watch one episode and hate everything

You really need to give shows more than one episode, especially Breaking Bad, not to spoil it, but once he goes to Tuco's office (Ep2 if I remember,) you'll get hooked.

Mindhunter gets better, especially the guy that plays Ed Kemper, he's a dead ringer, looks, size, voice, mannerisms etc to the real Ed Kemper.

Rescue Me is a good drama. It's kind of an oddball show because it's serious yet has a ton of cameos of famous comedians. A bit dark but I'd easily give it 7/10.

I loved Longmire except for the season Branch went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

I have a feeling you'd like the shows Godless and Damnation. They're both just one season each.

Longmire was a great show.

Godless had the meanest guy ever on TV played by Jeff Daniels.

I am on season 5 episode 10 of White Collar. Great series to binge.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but Banshee is pretty good, I think it's 4 seasons and I'd say each season gets more intense and crazy.

"An ex-con assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he has some unfinished business."

I loved Banshee. Been awhile since it was on.

The scene where he kills the big indian was just fan fucking tastic.
