Was inquiring about the availability of Gio after the owner put him on the block. His opening offer seems extremely steep in my opinion. I know Gordon is a lightning rod of hate. But he's a damn good player when on the field. Who knows if he gets off on this suspension he could be back this year. Either way he's a top WR and i'm still a believer. To add another young potential stud WR plus a young potential stud TE seems like way to much for Gio. Especially when he more than likely will get TD vultured this year by Hill. What type of counter would you send? Could Reed and Hunter get it done? Is it even worth trying if that's the type of deal he opened with?

Don't think I'd do that deal, not in a dynasty. Gordon is huge, Reed big, and Hunter may very well be huge as well. Gordon straight up, maybe. Hunter and Reed drop his Draft pick to a 3rd, maybe.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Shady, the timing of his offer is great. Good strategy by him. Because by now, everyone saw what happened with Lacy (concussion) and heard about Ellington (foot) which may be leading some owners to question the strength of their teams - especially the young players they're counting on.

I happen to like Gio, despite the word that he could be splitting an undetermined percentage of carries with Hill. I agree with you that Gordon, Reed and Hunter is a very steep price. I'd decline the offer.

IDK... I agree it is a steep price, but i think it may be worth it... First off, i dont think he would take much less for Shady... Jordan reed has minimal value in a 12 team league, and you can pretty easily get a replacement for him... and witten is a great replacement for this season(and i dont see him to be that special to be a cornerstone for a dynasty)... I am very big on Hunter this season, but he is a WR... WR is deep and unless you see Hunter to become a top 10 WR his Replacement value is not too bad... So it really is all about Gordon... How much do you trust him to keep clean and stay on the field(he is just a bad egg)...

So basically what i am saying is that if you want Gio, this offer is the one to take... especially if you see Gio to be a top 15 RB... Remember these 2 things, receiving RBs get hurt less than true Running backs and there are much less servicable RBs than WRs... Try to win this season!!! i would see if they would give you a TE back hopefully they have a young one like Kelcey, seferian-jenkins, or almaro...

1. Hill might end up as the lead back in Cincy.
2. Not completely definite that Gordon won't play this year.

Over/under for Gordon getting in trouble again is 6 weeks I'd take Bernard and the pick.

I don't know.

This seems like a sell low moment on Gordon and a buy high on Gio. Not how you turn a profit in a trade.

Gordon certainly carries risk, but the way things are moving in Cincy, I would not be willing to pay a premium to acquire Gio. 2 weeks ago, I would have advised you to do this. Given Hill's recent success, however, I would be trying to acquire him at a fraction of the price rather than pursuing Gio.

Yeah it's not the best time to trying to trade Gordon. I really don't even want to trade him more of what he asked for. He's actually the guy who traded me Gordon last season during week 4. He traded for Gio this pre season and is already trying to unload him. He paid a good bit to get Gio/Cam for Rodgers, Nuk and his high 2014 1st round pick. Think the other owner turned that into Cooks. Funny looking back he got Gordon by trading away Blackmon pre season last year lol.

Hill will not be the lead back unless Gio gets hurt.

Is Kramer1 in your league?

Possible.. It's always funny when guys go off the deep end because you want to explain your evaluations to better show why your offering what you are. Happens almost every season with at least one nut job.

Which makes no sense at all.
