Giants split DH as Bochy wins his 1,500th game lifetime

Another clusterfluck in the first game but then the Giants regrouped behind Zito and a strong bullpen to take game 2 of the DH giving Bochy his 1,500th lifetime win as a manager.

It's been a tough year for Bochy having to deal with so many injuries. He has had to juggle the lineup and at the same time try and keep Posey fresh who has had a great year so far. I heard a stat that said if Bochy can average 80 wins over the next 10 years he will pass Tony LaRussa on the all time list for manager wins and that would definatly put him in the HOF carring 2 WS and hopefull more to come.

Congrats to Bochy who has earned everything he has acomplished.

also, teams probably split DHs like 60-70% of the time. So, uh, great job tzill!
