I sure hope that they are not interested in Rick Ankiel. That guy is barely a Major Leaguer. Damon's not a bad player, but he would probably be expensive, and he has no upside.

It's nice to see a team building like ours is (and winning the WS of course). No more aging vet parade to fill in around Bonds.

Homegrown pitching, now starting to be homegrown lineup, with the new faces still reasonably young for the most part (Ross). DeRosa and Huff aren't young but they aren't signed long term and their ages are fine for what they are.
