He's limited as a QB and not a player to carry a team. However was likely the next best QB of that draft after Murray. Better then Haskins or Lock. That draft was just a piss poor draft for QBs.

Yeah, that's a problem for any new GM that comes in. They will likely have to ride it out through his 4th year, then hopefully find a better choice moving forward. No way anyone in their right mind should extend or tag this kid. I would likely not even use the 5th year option on him at this point. Find a cheap 2nd tier vet even until they can find a young guy that's worth it.
