Classy move to let younger Yaz have his first game at Fenway by himself.. Though it would have been pretty sweet to have him there to see it in person

Now that i think about it he wasn’t. They did show video from earlier in the day around the cage. Would have been nice to see his reaction after the homer.

Just curious. In case you haven't heard the story, Carl's son, Mike Sr, was a minor league outfielder in the late 80s but never made the Show. He passed away about 15 years or so ago due to health complications (I cannot remember if it was heart related or cancer).
