Any new thoughts on this extra-inning rule?

As long as it never gets used in playoffs, I can live with it, in concept. But it should be in the 12th inning, not the 10th. Part of baseball is the grind. And essentially taking away the occasional LONG extra inning game takes that aspect of the game away.

I definitely like it for the regular season, agree not for playoffs. 10th inning is better than not having it. I think maybe the 11th would be even better.

I agree that it is a terrible idea to ever have in the playoffs...

I actually love the concept of it... but just like the shift, most teams ignore the advantages it gives and doesnt change how many teams play...

i also like how it really gives the home field advantage... despite being given to both teams...
