i think you may be over valueing the farm in pittsburgh a little bit. if the pens land either getzlaf or nash without giving up an nhl ready player i really would be surprised. maybe they trade sid??? haha

Actually wasn't saying just that would take to either of them. If that would then Shero would be the GM of the century. Basically was just answering the question about the Penguin draft picks and adding in their strengths which is D depth. Honestly if one of those Duck's players or Nash came to Pittsburgh I could guarantee Neal would be involved. If that is the case the Penguins aren't deep enough in top 6 players so it wouldn't make much sense.

If the pens were smart they'd shut crosby down LTIR him and make some moves for a few vets. They'd still be competitive enough to do damage in the playoffs. With crosby in limbo they're already done.

If staals out that may be too much to overcome anyway depending on how bad....
