Georgia Tech has certainly had a great year. If they can beat Mississippi State, that team deserves to be ranked near the top 5. That said, I see Mississippi state having too much of a combined passing and running attack. Should be a lot of points scored.

Probably. GT has a fairly small alumni base. Up until about 1996 we only had about 8k undergrads. Since then we've expanded to 14k undergrads. It's still nowhere near the big state schools with 25k+ students. As a result, there's not a lot of alumni to buy tix for bowl games.

It also doesn't help that UGA basically has the fan base for the average person in Georgia.
