Anybody else watching this on TSN?

A whole lot of guys who went on to not be stars in the NHL with Lindros for Canada...

against

Ozolinsh, Bure (Pavel), Kozlov (Slava), Kasparaitis, etc.

Nice to reminisce.

Yikes - Kidder had no chance on that bad defensive gaffe...

Canadians are unimpressive.

I actually remember watching this tourney and thinking that Kidd wold be a star.

He had just about all the tools.. except for the ability to handle the puck. No finish.

How did Karl Dykhuis find his way onto Team Canada?

LOL. I was thinking the same thing.

The defense was pretty no-name, except for Breeze-by.

The boys on the panel just said a young Scott Niedermayer was the 7th defenseman for Canada...

I just saw that. If I'm the coach maybe, just maybe, I throw him out there for a shift or two instead of David Harlock. :ohwell:

Trevor Kidd exhibiting some Lalimesque goalie skills there. Right down to the deflated/confused post-goal look.

The panel was talking about how overmatched the Canadian blueline was, but who had any kind of finishing skills up front for the Canadians? Lindros, Falloon and that's about it.
