It looks like any team in the NHL can beat the wings tonight. Howard should have stopped at least 1 of those shots by now, maybe a little rusty on extended off-season

Shouldn't Quincey be demoted to the CHL. Tarasenko has show him the door twice tonight already. This guy is a poor excuse for an NHL player in my opinion. Brutal kind of put it mildly.

The shots are 27-7 after 2 periods. It's a lackadaiscal team effort against a team that the Wings knew right from the get-go that they had speed and a system of continued support in all phases of the game.

First they must believe that he's gone before they can move on to the next chapter. But, when a team skates like they're at the outdoor rink with the wife and kids on a Sunday, they aren't going to beat any opponent who is aware that they need to win games on a regular basis to make the playoffs in a shortened season.

I don't think that we will be seeing Cleary in a Wings jersey after this season. He's not even the shadow of what he was just 2 seasons ago.

We can now define our extra man situation as a Power Pffft.

Maybe, if our players and coaching staff were paying close attention to how a power play can be successful, they have at least learned that those off the puck need to be active (not standing around), the puck needs to be delivered quickly, and you need to have somebody down low, so that there is more created space for puck movement to open the middle and also to draw one of the defenders away from the high slot.

They say that pain is only temporary, that is, as long as something isn't broken; but, I think here that the latter might be a bit closer to the reality of the situation.
