With Stewart up, I would have rather him taken the walk. He shouldn't ever be more aggressive. We needed to get Timmay up to the plate that inning so that Andres could lead off the next. Chit.

Nice hack by Stewart. Geez, 3-0 with the pitcher coming up, and a fastball in on the hands, take a pitch. Take two. No reason to green light him there.

Oswalt seems vulnerable so far, if the Giants would have good plate approaches and string together some hits.

Right now, we are so screwed up, it's "damned if you do, and damned if you don't." But I agree heartily with this. Take the walk, or at least take the next two pitches so you are hitting with a full count. No facking way he should have had the green light to swing on 3-0.
