In two AB's, Tejada has hit the ball a total of 85 feet. Why, indeed? Bochy ball is horrendous! You are on the road, you need a win to gain on the Snakes. Play for one, right? Move Belt into scoring position? Bochy's season-long stubborn refusal to do this is puzzling, maddening, and worthy of dismissal.

Sabean for bringing him in, too.

I guess when all is said and done Noggin used this same approach last year and it worked for him. Offense was medicore at best but they always scored enough runs to squeak by. Ross and Huff we're better than what they are this year but I think the biggest failure has been Torres ---- we lost the spark and the offense just shut down I'm not sure we can right the boat without fixing our leadoff position.

Don't look now, but the Giants have a non-solo HR streak of 2!

Agreed about leadoff.

Last year was magical, everything seemed to work, at least in the stretch run.

A manager shows his mettle by helping the team when everything is NOT working. Bochy has shown no inclination to change the approach of the team, nor his strategy, though things are very different this year.

Agreed. Last year the SP was great down the stretch and the bully was near unhitable. He didn't have to think. Always got the key hit. He never changed his approach - didin't have to.
