Good call. Yup, it was nice seeing one of our starters stay in the game past the 5th and also leave with a lead (albeit a short lived one).

Yup, even though he had a nice two-rbi single, I sure wouldn't mind seeing Ross in RF (especially in games played at home). Freddy caught one ball out in the middle of RF today on a very tough play for a 2Bman. Any other outfielder on the Giants (Burrell inlcuded) would have been camped underneath it and calling Franchez off. At least Bengie's lack of foot speed didn't affect his catching (even though his weight did).

How Freudian was that slip in the title of this thread, filo? Are you wanting it to all be over sooner rather than later? . I find the main difference between this board and the other is that everyone over here is excited about the inevitably meaningful September games, and "the others" are too worried about being let down once again to enjoy rooting for a good team to exceed expectations. I prefer rooting for my favorite teams to expecting the worst and being pleasantly surprised.

Yes, ever since the "move", the other board has become less and less tolerable. I find myself going over there now just to try and catch some more good posters that may be trapped. I then proceed to get caught up in all of the stupidity and post myself.....I'm just no good with teh will power.

Basically embedding a portion of a webpage, usually a pic, video, or other media type. Almost every gif you see embedded in these threads is hot linked. Those sites that don't allow hot linking insist that traffic visit their pages to get the content.
