Well I guess the times he gives up runs hurt the most in our minds. Just kills our observations
The big thing I notice about those two stat-sets...
This year he is a 5 inning pitcher. last year he was a 6 inning pitcher.
That is a disturbing trend...

And yet based on most stats, Cain is having the best season in his career. His other stats show a promising trend.
And in 2010, he goes from bad (7th inning) to worse (8th/9th) whereas this season its bad (6th) to better.
