Well I guess the times he gives up runs hurt the most in our minds. Just kills our observations

The big thing I notice about those two stat-sets...

This year he is a 5 inning pitcher. last year he was a 6 inning pitcher.

That is a disturbing trend...

And in 2010, he goes from bad (7th inning) to worse (8th/9th) whereas this season its bad (6th) to better.

Maybe his drop in durability is due to the offense. In the 5th/6th, not only he tied/behind/up by a little, but there is no faith in the late inning comeback, so he nibbles even more. Last year, there was the magic aspect to the team.

Or...

It could just be SSS.
