If I hear that we played good hockey and Miller just was standing on his head, Im breaking my tv. I dont know why no one questions McClellan. In my book hes a pasny too. I realize teams go thru tough streaks, for example the Caps, but we do not have the talent level of the Caps. Not even close. There best player on there team is in the Top five in hits and plays fucking hard. We have three pansies. Hey guys Im real sorry for ranting tonite, but Ive just had it with this team. Your a playing a kids game for a living give it everything u have. I think our GM is a pansy too.

I disagree actually. Top to bottom I would put the Sharks talent against any team's talent in the entire NHL (it was more prevalent in previous years, guys like Wallin and Huskins etc do drag it down). But you hit the nail on the head comparing how Ovechkin plays to how Thornton plays. OV goes all out and tries his hardest every game. He likes to score, but he also plays a complete game. Thornton plays when he wants to (which isn't very often) in the offensive zone and has been completely absent in the defensive zone this season. Marleau and Heatley have been equally absent and even Pavelski played pretty poorly before he got hurt. It doesn't matter how much talent you have, when you put in as little work as the Sharks have this season you won't win consistently. It's just not possible.

Yup - probably a luck first round win followed by a 2nd round disaster and an interview with Marleau saying its disappointing but they just need to come back next year and try again...

I really think you must trade Heatley, if you can. Hes absolutely worthless. Id take a 100th round draft pick for him if it was possible. I hate everything about his game. He reminds me of Allen Iverson, tried to score 30 points a game, but won nothing. Im really serious I would trade the entire first line. I know its hard cause of contacts, but I just want Thornton and Marleau gone. I cant stand the sight of those guys. Give me 12 Nichols and lose every game from here on out and I will be ok. Guys, I dont think you realize how emberassing of a loss that is

4th in the conference. That's the bad part. Doug will think he has a chance and trade the future for some veteran that he's been targeting for years. Then he'll re-sign him for some stupid amount of money in the offseason.
