Please explain to me why it's perfectly fine for you to pick the Giants to lose and please don't say it never happened , but when someone else does it you accuse them of pantshatting ?

I personally feel your the biggest pantshatter on this board and I find it hilarious when you accuse others of doing the same .

I don't think I started a GDT with a loss prediction, but if I did it's pantshatting. Never said I never pantshat.

I just don't make a habit of it.

Oh, and calm the f down. You were wrong. Deal with it.

Big question...

Is he just hot, or has he actually "figured it out"?

Kruk is convinced that he has "figured it out"

I think that Belt hitting with better hitters in front of and behind him, is getting better pitches (and taking advantage of it). Simple as that.

I'm liking Craw at #2 and Belt at #3 (with Posey at #4).

Moxie nailed it a couple games ago. She saw an interview where they said he changed his grip from where the base knuckles lined up to one where the second knuckles lined up. This apparently "loosened" his wrists and allowed for an easier, more fluid swing. Kruk made mention of it when he hit the three-run homer.

7/3 GDT vs REDS
, I bumped it

I just don't make a habit of it.

Neither do I , I think Chen is a real good pitcher and figured he would shut us down

Oh, and calm the f down. You were wrong. Deal with it.

I think your the last guy on these boards that should tell anyone to calm the F down when considering your the only one that attacks anyone around here ,

Personally, I wouldn't call this "the hidden ball trick" (although the broadcasters did). Nobody sneaked the ball around, passing it from hand to glove, glove to glove, whatever. The Rays VERY obviously just tossed the ball around. Sure, Longoria held it in his glove because he saw nobody was paying attention - but that's not the "classic" sneak the ball to an IF during a huddle and then tag the guy out. You'd have to be pretty distracted (like Uribe) not to have seen the ball being thrown to TWO different infielders.

PS : not a rag on you Stokes, I think so many broadcasters are just idiots. Like in the video. "That's a bad call ... that's not even a good c... uuuh, "

Agree on the broadcasters, they seemed pretty clueless.

But don't agree that that wasn't a "classic" hidden-ball trick? I mean sure, he held it in his glove hoping Uribe would do something stupid, but the ball wasn't hidden to get it to Longoria - they flat out tossed it 30 feet to him.

Agree a 100% .... maybe it's taken Boch this long to figure it out .... both Craw and Belt seem to be benefiting from this arrangement .... now ... if only fatso could find his swing again .... maybe it's hidden in all those cheese fries!

It's also nothing more complicated than moving the guys hitting up in the order (Craw, Belt) and moving the ones not hitting down (Panda, Blanco/Torres). If Panda is a permanent problem then we have a major major problem in 2014. You'd think in a contract year next year he will have a good year.

Still need a legit LF in 2014, even if Panda gets his stroke back. But if that happens and we do get that LF, we look pretty good for 2014.

I think we'll enter 2014 with some questions and some real concerns ..
Questions:
1. How will Vogs pitch this year? 2013 may still provide us with some answers. He started off crappy and then on his one real good outing he got hurt. His last outing was promising. I think by the end of this year we may have an idea of what to expect.
2. Timmy seems to have found himself in the past 10 or so starts. Just hope he has in fact 'turned it around'. As good as he has been recently is what makes you forget the some of those real bad starts he had earlier in the year and there were some. Just have to hope they are long gone as we move forward. I'm still not sure he takes a QO from us though. His value has risen over these past few starts.
3. Do we find a legit LF bat or move Belt to LF and find a 1B bat? We need do something here.
Concerns:
1. Which Panda do we see? 2009 and 2011 or 2010 and 2013. 2012 wasn'r a bad year but I'm not sure 13HR, 283avg and only 108 games will cut it for us. He's capable of so much more and I think we'll need it
2. Who will be in RF. If we don't resign Pence then we have both a LF and a RF problem.
3. I think the Doggies are for real. Took them quite some time to heal, get on track and start moving. But they have and that team does scare me. The one thing they have that we don't is a ton of money they are willing to spend in an effort to fix any damn problems that they have. For me they are following the model used by the NYY and that had put the NYY into the playoff for 19 of the last 20 or 21 seasons. Having an unlimited funding source makes them a very difficult opponent IMHO.
