Riot, arias, and Pagan yechh

Arias' AB in the 2nd was beyond pathetic. 2-0 count, looking to move the runner over, and he pops up.

Of course, as long as Noggin has been a manager, I have had issues with his stubborn refusal to send runners, to play hit and run, to sacrifice. (Yes, AB, I know you have a ring. Stop reading this board and manage the kaka out of the game, would you, please?)

Cain can't get the bottom of the lineup out. Fuck, time to start drinking.

Cain's off speed stuff is nonexistent so the bums are teeing off on fastballs now.

Tonight? Hmm...No Pablo, a weak line-up...I'm feeling pantshatty. Hope they prove me wrong.

Cain needs to shut them down. EDIT: Nevermind.

I feel the same way. Especially since this is the Dogs, it is at home, our best pitcher is on the mound, and we should be sending a loud FYWW message the the would be contenders from down south.

But no. We can't hit with runners on. Cain gives up too may two out hits. And the Olympics are on.

I truly wish there was a word that could sum up the shrugged-shoulder sigh that comes from total exasperation. You know - the one where after te sound is made, te arms raise, the mouth opens, and no words come out. This effing blows.

He was struggling to hit his targets from the very beginning with his off speed stuff...but the Dodgers were out in front. Not his night.

DP. Still got a chance.

Cain summed up my feelings pretty well when he walked off the mound after that 6-4-3 DP.

No lead-off hitter.

Too many weak hitters (5-8 hitters).

Too much pressure on Posey and Melk every night to carry this team.

I know, we ARE in 1st place by three games. But until Panda gets back and/or trades are made, scoring runs ain't gonna be easy.

Cain summed up my feelings pretty well when he walked off the mound after that 6-4-3 DP.

I am less worried about his pitching and more worried about how he keeps getting Cained by this "lineup".

I am hoping SabeySabes has something up his sleeve, because these hackers are not cutting it. Feels familiar to 2011, doesn't it?

This team is scoring more runs, but we have more 9-3 games, and are less productive in the close games. (Total guess, mostly exasperation, no data to back that up.) Still the suk with RISP. :L

Damn, Scutaro isn't a 30 HR, 100 RBI guy?

MLB Network just made the trade for Scutaro official on Facebook, FWIW.

From Hank Schulman:

Pagan told me the other night he felt he was going to bust out at the plate again. He'd better. He's at .198 with 13 RBIs in last 131 ABs.
