Ya, I'm not completely clear on the rules in that situation. Does it matter that he impeded Crawford's ability to make the save since he was out of the crease? Definitely shouldn't have been a penalty on Marleau.

And again with the officiating. Seemed like it should have been evened up with the scrap by the bench but the Sharks got a PP out of it. Made it count too, 2-0.

I think Crawford would've had to have been in the crease for the interference penalty to be called. You're right, it evened out with SJ getting the PP out of that scrap. Thought it just would be matching penalties. Didn't think Toews was going to get a penalty there.

The PP has changed. Much more movement high and more willing to shoot. Just shoot and hope for a good rebound like on Boyle's goal. Is anything better than scoring a goal on your bday as a dman? Braun is another great late round find.
