Just to add to the clusterfuck...

The Jays DFA'd Ramon Ortiz a couple days ago. Remember when he baffled the Giants a couple weeks back? 7 IP, 6 hits, 1 run...

Well he was COMPLETELY unreliable in all his other outings (2.1/4, 2.2/3, 3.0/2).

And Cain has to eat as many IP this game as possible because of the double header.

Very fucked. It's not even a question. It's one thing to deal with Timmy and Vogelsong sucking, maybe get a new guy, but if Cain is going down Lincecum Lane this year then it's over. Yes, in June.

That's not shatting, that's common sense. You need pitching to be a good team. We always just assumed that's what we had. Perhaps not in 2013.

Like SF11704 said, I think we all kind of assumed we'd make the playoffs without too much drama having just won the WS. But you can't assume anything in this game. That's baseball, and sometimes it sucks ass.
