Kind of scary to think how good this team could be if the top 6 or in this case top 4 (no clowe or havlat) would start scoring now that the bottom lines and D are scoring.

PS good thing about the injuries its forcing this team to play better defense as a team which is a good habit to get into

I always wondered why him & alexei yegorov didnt get more of a chance with SJ but ville peltenon did?

back then it was before I could steam games, so maybe he just sucked and had good numbers? I donno, always thought SJ kinda wasted his talent like my homeboy Korolyuk

Jan Caloun had skating issues, and just didn't want to play in America.

Alexei Yegorov had a great chance to play full time, but was killed during the off-season "nabby knew him very well"

Ville Peltenon, had skating skills, speed, and defensive awareness.

Alexei Yegorov, was killed in a car crash back in 99 or 98. He never played a whole season with SJ, but the year he would have been given a roster spot he passed away.

Nevermind, I must have been thinking of someone else. He passed away in 02 by drug over dose. I remember him having a few solid games, but I guess he never could put it together.
