I saw that the G's cut ties (again) with D-Train.

Anyone who does not look at this guy and see Timmeh is fooling themselves...

Nope. Timmy had FAR more success for FAR longer. And totally different styles. I don't see much correlation.

What was that, 7 pitches for 4 outs?

My point being, HUGE early success, then dropping off the cliff.

Yes. Timmeh was effective to elite for 5 seasons while Dontrell was effective to very good for 3. But the loss of effectiveness in D is an absolute cautionary tale to be heeded when planning a future with Timmeh.

I know he needed a break but you can see how having a red-hot Pagan leading off helps the overall offense....

Also, Willis after his 3 effective years completely fell apart and couldn't get anyone out. Timmy is probably/hopefully going to be an effective 3/4 type for a little while.

If your point is that some pitchers start strong then fall off, well, can't argue with you there.

If Pablo hits a 3 run homer on Wilson right here, I would forgive him for his terrible start to the season.

That felt like a true Weezy appearance. He got himself in all kinds of trouble, but got himself out of it.

Brings back lots of memories

Kobe/Panda/Buster/Beast 0-15.

Not gonna win many games like that.

Still, I approve of this game and the series. On to Dirty Waffle in first place!

Giants were 5-30 with RISP, and left 33 men on base for this series. :L

The pitching was excellent, though, giving up only 5 runs in three games. :yahoo:

Alas, only scoring six runs in three games. And only two XBH all series (both doubles). :L

Took two of three from the Doggies. :thumb:
