I thought it noteworthy that in a game where we scored 7 runs and had 12 hits, Herk and Shark went 0-10.

The loss was credited to the person who deserved it, but still....

In fairness to Herk, he should have drawn a walk and an RBI (not that 0-4 with an RBI is much better). Terrible call by the umpire. That would have most likely kept the inning alive for one more Sac Fly by Blanco (making a poor assumption that everything else would have gone down the same way) and made the score 9-8.
