Timmy's dominant days are behind him. It's sad to see.

Per MLB.com, Timmy is hitting 91-92 on the fastball.

Both HRs were off 83 mph changeups.

Sad indeed. That's what I felt in watching the 1st inning. Just sucks.

Back to the question someone (Cal?) asked during Timmeh's last start: how long do the Giants stick with him in the rotation?

Wow. The change up was just floating up there in the 1st. No bite at all.

I saw one fastball hit 93. (for a ball of course)

I brought this up a couple days ago, its cool to see different philosophies at work. Giants had him upright and tall in the box, Cubs have him compact.

I've been so pleasantly surprised by Crawdaddy. I thought he was going to be a GG shortstop with a .200 ba and a .630 ops. Love that he's homegrown too.

Sorry need some positive stuff to balance out this Timmay start. Lol

The guy is incredible. There are very few SS I can remember that are as big as he is and can pick it like he does.

To Timmeh's credit, he's kept the Giants in the game. Got to get to the Cubs bullpen ASAP.

Edit: the other day, a caller on KNBR was comparing Craw to Omar Vizquel, which I thought was funny since Omar is, at best, 5-9 and Craw is 6-2.

I swore I would never do another game thread. I never wanted to do it again. Now I am making one for today's game vs. the Chicago 105's. Granted, Timmy is pitching and I may be setting myself up for the worst performance ever. I want to take that risk if it means getting into the win column
