I swore I would never do another game thread. I never wanted to do it again. Now I am making one for today's game vs. the Chicago 105's. Granted, Timmy is pitching and I may be setting myself up for the worst performance ever. I want to take that risk if it means getting into the win column

This is a common way for catchers to get a regular rest, at least from catching.

Oh no doubt, Posey has to rest once in a while. But if he ever catches another Lincecum start (barring emergency) I'll be surprised.

Just a thought...

Maybe Timmeh doesnt care, while the other starters do. Since Posey needs to sit once a week plus, make it a regular rotation and give Timmeh the personal catcher.

I am not saying I believe this theory, just tossing it out there...
