Sharks need to get it together in the 3rd. MIN really came on, even after Thornton's goal. It seems like Braun Vlasic are always hemmed in their own zone.

Galiardi has had several good games in a row now. This is what most of us expected from him when he was first aquired.

Sharks flow so much better with those slugs off the team. Offense and defense. Secondary scoring is coming through.

Sharks Win!

I have been one of the more vocal ones, in terms of reminding everyone of my displeasure regarding the McGinn trade. If Galiardi can bring this every night, I can get over it real quickly. Even without the goal, Gali looked great and has played well for the past couple weeks.

The Wild run the type of pressure forecheck that used to destroy the Sharks. It's good to see them have such effective break outs against that type of game lately.

I second to that. Galiardi is looking really good lately, same to other players on the 3&4 lines. They play really hard. Hope they don't cool down when the PO come.

The bottom 6 is all playing hard because one of them is going to sit when Torres arrives. None wants to be the healthy scratch. Who is it going to be? Maybe Wingels. He has tailed off a bit lately. Maybe Adam Rubbish I hope. He hasn't been the agitator like he should be.

Yeah, Wingels has been absolute garbage for about 4 games now. He's also managed to completely screw Marleau/Couture and completely killed their productivity. They are also horrible on defense together as a line, which is the most worrisome part for me.

Much deserved pressbox seat should be waiting for him for the next couple games.

Don't know if Torres can play whatever wing Wingels plays but a line of Torres-Couture-Marleau would be pretty fucking fantastic, IMO. And would also allow you to not mess with any of the other lines... that have been working pretty well lately.

Basically, the only line that absolutely blows is Wingels-Couture-Marleau. I hate it so much.

How do you figure the are horrible on defense as a line. McLellan is using that line in a shut down role matching them against the other teams top lines and they have been outstanding in that role. There is no way McLellan should touch either of the top two lines.

My guess is Torres will slot in with Pavelski and Galiardi. Shep will move back down to the 4th and one of Desi or Burish will see the pressbox. Burish most likely.

Yes, the top line assignment is tough but they've been getting dominated pretty bad lately, IMO. They have somehow miraculously managed to not give up many goals but they give up a ton of chances so it's just a matter of time.

Marleau is great defensively, as is Couture. So I blame Wingels. His defensive skills aren't good and when his offense is also non-existent -- and, worse yet, the entire line is "out of sync" out there offensively with Couture-Marleau just passing to each other 99% of the time -- it's time to take let the kid sit a few.

I have no problem with Burish sitting to free up the slot for Torres. You know I dislike Burish very much and don't think he belongs on an NHL team.

But just saying that Wingels just isn't very good at teh hockey either. We really have nobody better that can take his spot in the lineup? What do the coaches see in him so that's so great when he clearly takes entire games off (mentally) like he has been?
