Let's hope for a WIN 2nite, but won't be surprised if they lose.

That kid reminds me of Mitchell skating around the boards with the puck.

Oooch, hurts just watching!

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Dany Heatley today, incredibly nice guy. I think he is misjudged by fans around the NHL. I had extremely high expectations of him when he came to SJ, I expected 50 goals. I was and always will be disappointed in his tenure with the Sharks but after getting to know him a bit today, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that injuries, not effort accounted to his shortcomings. Anyway, he's enjoying his time in Minnesota. I hope he doesn't hear any boo birds tonight, he wasn't a bad teammate, he deserves better than that. Not sure why I felt it was relevant to share this with you guys but I hope it sheds some light on who he is as a person because I think a lot of us on the board viewed him as a real piece of shit. I no longer do.

I don't harbor any ill will towards Dany Heatley the person. I do have problems with his contract and lack of production on the Sharks though. That said, I hope he lives a long, happy, healthy life.

Good post MacJ.

He just didn't perform up to his salary or my expectations. I didn't want him on the Sharks when he demanded his trade out of OTT, but I cheered for him once he was a Shark. He should not be booed because he got traded and was a good teammate. His hockey skills just didn't satisfy me as a fan when he was here in SJ. No ill feelings, just glad we got Havlat now.

I'll be happier about the trade when Havlat remembers how to put the puck in the net. Playing with Clowe and Couture that should only be a matter of time.

How's the team respond to the Sunday bag skate?

I agree with everyone else on here. I have nothing bad to say about Heatley as a person as I don't know him. In interviews though he seemed like an OK guy. Was never happy with his performance as a Sharks player though, well at least since the start of the 2010 playoffs. His 09-10 season production was decent. IIRC he only scored 5 goals in the playoffs in a Sharks jersey in what had to be 30 something games and since goal scoring was the only way he could positively contribute to the team, that just didn't cut it for a first line player.

Holy Feck. The Sharks do not like bag skates. Thank you Mr. McLellan. Keep this up boys. Wow, Desjardin, not a good giveaway.

Don't worry, the Sharks out shoot everyone. Means little. Hackett is holding it down.

Sharks 4 minute PP results in a whole lot of nothing.

MIN PP takes 40 seconds to score.
