I don't think he did that on purpose. Kind of whiffed and just got lucky the puck went over Niemi's pad. If he gets good wood on that he probably fires it right into the pad of Niemi.

Game's still not over though. If the Sharks could come back from 2 down against Pittsburgh they can do it against Vancouver. Gotta get the next goal.

This team still looks vulnerable come playoff time. They still get frazzled by a good goalie and their special teams go in the shitter when it counts.

Jumbo's stupid slash (not a scoring chance there) on Burrows changed the momentum on the game. Undisciplined and not needed, just lost his cool against an agitator.

I had the opportunity to go to this game but after 3 days straight of thanksgiving activities, I just didn't have it in me for a game tonight. It looks like the Sharks are feeling as lethargic as I am.

Still got a 3rd period to pull this out though.
Drew always says the 3-1 leads are the least secure because 1 gets you back in it and once you get that first goal, you've a ton of momentum.

So the Sharks need to score the next goal to have a chance at this.
Let's hope the post thanksgiving tryptophan coma doesn't kill their chances tonight.
