I am still really happy we won this game, but it absolutely blows my mind watching this game right now and thinking how we didn't just put the game away right here.

We just threw a 99 yard TD pass on 3rd down, took a 24-12 lead, stopped them on Defense, and got the ball back at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

But, we all know how it ends.

I'm just using Bo's very own philosophy of bend but don't break. The farther you have to go, the more likely you'll shoot yourself in the foot along the way.

That was just for the past 4 years. Tito is gone. It's all unicorns and rainbows now that we get a new ball with nubs on it.

To be fair, they weren't fumbling punts last season. That was 2012 (I think).

Last season they were fielding punts at or around the 10 with 3 -4 defenders in their face, OR letting it hit and roll inside the 10. At the same time there was no rush to try and block the punt.

Common sense says you either rush the punter, OR you block their coverage team to set up a return. They did neither.

Am I missing a "process" for success here?

How does a coach look at game film and not see there was neither a block or return called?

All I can figure is a coach who refuses to recognize critique AND doesn't analyze previous game film. i.e. Instead of looking at what's going wrong, he's already game planning the next opponent.

That's the only way you get perpetual mistakes week in and week out.
