Most of you know I have always been a JG guy and will remain that way. Let's say this season doesn't go well though- I think we would all pretty much agree that he has had ample time to get things right here, and in ways he has, however injuries to QBs are usually not a good thing for a coach. If he were to be let go, who would you like to see become the next HC for the Dallas Cowboys.

If Garrett is out as coach, who should be next coach? ...I'll answer that with another question - how much pride is Jerry willing to swallow?

I mean there are always the ex coaches- Shanny, Gruden, Cowher, etc. There are always up and coming coordinators - Rob Ryan - lol. I'm kidding. College coaches. Or even a coach you know we can't even get because they are coaching somebody else.

I just wish Garrett could figure out game day. Love him as our coach 6 days a week, then I just still get the feeling the lights get a little too bright for him at times on Sundays, especially when the going gets tough...:2cents:

I agree, but Jerry will use the Romo was injured excuse and fire everyone but Jason. I have no idea who is the right coach for this team that can succeed with Jerry as the GM.

That's cool. I think though he not only drafted him, he won with him. I just threw some names out there. If I was choosing a coordinator , I would go Mangini. I think he deserves another shot .

Heck I get mad at seeing Garrett on the sidelines in the madden game. He coaches in that game like he does in real lfe.

I Love Garrett. He has the perfect quiet, calming presence that you need in Dallas where the slightest statement can get blown out of proportion. I find him to be a real class act.

That said, your right.

I'll assume that most head coaches set up a chess board for who they are playing and look at the strength & weaknesses of both teams. And then carve out a game plan from that.

I always get the feeling that Garrett just throws what we are good at to opposing teams and then wings it from there.

Maybe what the Cowboys need is disciplinarian. Tom Coughlin.

I expect him to stay in Dallas because Jerrah likes him.

I've come to the opinion that it's show time THIS year for Garrett and with his tenure, rightly so.

NOW...the question, what will jerry do? I still think after Parcells, any solid NFL coach with a proven record of success will negotiate clear concise control areas. To which....jerry will not agree, least in my opinion he won't

I am in agreement that Garrett needs to win this year but Romo being hurt might save him but not with the way the offense was ran last Sunday and many more before that
