I am wary to post this, because Rob is in mid-victory lap at the moment and it might set him off to start 7 new threads and change the topic of every thread out there to a Lions defense sucks topic, but the Lions won't hold Peterson the way the 49ers did. I doubt we see the same vikings next week, I think Lions can still win though.

Someone has to balance out all the blind faith filled homers around here. Hell, me, Smitty, Thunder, Fog and a couple others are the only real Lions fans here. Were the only ones who care and want this team to get better. The rest of you guys are happy cheering for a losing team, and holding personal grudges on message boards.

Just look at all the Suh talk. He plays for Miami now guys.

I don't think I can be considered blind faith homer, I have been critical of many bad choices made in the organization. We have done nothing but agree on losing Suh. We differ on where we think the Lions defense ends up at the end of the year(and no end of week 1 does not make you right).

The major difference is in how aggressive we are about our opinions on here. What you need to see is that you and tpaul are basically the same poster with vastly different views. You are 2 sides of the same coin, tpaul being on the very positive, and you being on the very negative. If you two could find a middle ground to be that aggressive on it could probably be weaponized.

It's all perception my friend. I'm an ultra positive person who wants to see my team do better. TP and those like him are the negative ones, blindly accepting whatever it is that this team serves them.

Mayhew needs to go. We wasted 5 years where we had the best DT and best WR in the NFL and have nothing to show for it. We have a GM who has more 2nd round busts than any other. Continuing to cheer for this guy is negative. Us fans deserve better.

Agreed on Mayhew needs to go. He increased the talent level for sure, but he is not the guy to take us to the next level. I should not have put this on this thread though, this is the thread that pays me $50 at the end of the year.

I'm not anti-Lion guy saying they're cursed and fans are stupid to love them. I'm saying this regime has not got it done because they're simply incapable. Time to move on.
