The ORs always confuse me. mostly because sometimes guys come out of left field and so seeing an or at #1 where you don't expect it.

Stoll and Allen as an OR threw me off. Same with Cam Taylor with Lamar Jackson. Good to see Taylor pushing hard as Lamar needs that.

I think Cam at C is a good thing. Guy is a good athlete, fast for a C, so if he won the job, i'd think that means he can do things that SF really wants done from the C spot. We'll see.

Frost let the cat outta the bag about Jurgens in his presser last Friday.

Frost has even called him "the next Dave Remington" which I laughed when I heard.

My rationale on the bets is that I believe Nebraska can average 40 PPG scoring offense this season. Frost says Jurgens is a go at center and Frost's offense creates a lot of mismatches at the 2nd level. Top that off with a Heisman contender QB.

The top 4 P5 offenses all averaged more than 40 PPG last season. Three of which made the CFP. All 4 won their CCG's.

I don't expect Nebraska can compete with Clemson/Bama, but here's the kicker......

They say "Defense wins championships" and they do. National Championships. The biggest question mark going into the season is Nebraska's defense

When it comes to Conference Championships, scoring defense does not carry the same importance as scoring offense ...

I am sure Cam Jurgens starts, but I don't think he finishes. I would feel a lot better if he had played center before the spring of 2019. I can be convinced otherwise.

I won't be watching the game as my wife and I are heading out of town. Then, the next weekend I am hopefully moving our oldest son into his apartment in downtown Chicago so he becomes an official adult, with a job, pays enough taxes to have to worry about getting a refund, a 401K, an apartment, and hopefully gets off our payroll in January 2020.
