I thought our WRs would be a lot better this year but they still aren't that good. Austin is just a rookie so I never expected too much from him. Usually it takes until about the 3rd year until WRs really hit their prime. I'm disappointed in Givens though through these 3 games. Cook only had one really good game but besides that hasn't really done anything. Quick continues to drop and Austin Pettis isn't really that good. I actually think last years WR core with Gibson and Amendola(when healthy) is better than this years.

That was all sarcasm for all the people on this board (cough SJ cough cough) who think Sam is worthless. I agree 100% with you, Sam did well with what he had to work with. Still on pace for over 4000 yds passing, 32 TD's and yes 16 INTs. His stats would have been even better if Quick,Givens and Cook catch easy balls. We need to right the ship in a QUICK fashion or we will get slaughtered by the Whiners

He played well today but the WRs did not. His 60% completion record would be 65% if the WRs had not dropped the passes... Bradford was spot on with his passes.

Wow. That was ugly. The "Rams Way To Play Football" isn't working yet. Coaches and players have to step things up and execute. This may turn out to be a longggggggg season.

What Are We To Think Now

I have no idea about this season coming in with high hopes. These looked like the same ole Rams except they were sleep walking throughout the Game. Where is the Fire, Where is the ethiusasim, Where is the team. This is just getting too freaking old and here we go again. No excuses, the Rams are the Rams! Maybe one year they will put it together but I think this season will be a wash, Again! IMO.

I think a lot of Rams fans came into the season thinking we'd have a top 5-10 defense and not a bottom 5-10 one. I'm a little more disappointed with the offense but that seems fixable with repetition. The defensive roster is what it is. From what little of the game I saw, it was Laurinaitis getting exposed, Finnegan playing poorly, our dline getting much less pressure than expected and TJ McDonald playing surprisingly well.

I meant it when I stated that Sammie played very well today and I gave him kudos for it over on my post-game analysis thread. You could see how everyone else just effed this game right up. Sammie was one of the bright spots today on O. He earned his money today for sure!
