I am worried Arya will turn up in the capital as Gregor Clegane and I'm going to be pissed.
Terribly boring episode. Nothing fucking happened...
is that where the "Partial Nudity" came from? I was looking for something but didn't see anything. I must have missed the dick shot. Was this the first premier episode of this series that no woman was naked or getting nailed? I mean they got a dead guys dick in there, but did that count?
Maybe she will be like Lady StoneheartI am worried Arya will turn up in the capital as Gregor Clegane and I'm going to be pissed.
I highly doubt that. Sam has no reason to help Jorah, but it is good to know Jorah is somewhere. I forget how he ended up at the Citadel though. I knew Sam was going to get grabbed there, but didn't think it would be Mormont.- Jorah being at the Citadel and meeting Sam on the other side of the door is important (Sam gonna find a cure for Jorah?)
I'm 50 and never heard of him and I have a female in the house.I'm 55, so I understand why I wouldn't have heard of him, but I have a 17 year-old male in our household and he never heard of him either. In fact, there are seven total people in our household (three with musical backgrounds), and none of them heard of the guy.
Ed Sheeran was the main guy singing in the Lannister Army when Arya was riding by on her horse and sitting next to her.

I think people would feel differently about it had Arya killed him.Totally unnecessary
Lets not ruin the greatest show ever with stupid cameos
I liked the scene as well. It was just Sheeren's inclusion that I was disappointed in. But I would still rate the episode about a 9 or 9.5, so it is no big deal.
I got the sense that Arya had full intention of slaughtering the lot of them. But they were all just a bunch of good guys trying to feed their families and were not evil rapists and pillagers. Each had their own back stories, to. One was a song writer, one was a vintner, one was an expectant father who wanted a daughter, not only so she would watch over him in his old age, but so his son would not be forced to fight someone else's war, like him.
Beautiful scene, actually.
The guys from mastodon and anthrax and coldplay are musicians first... even hodor was a musician first... but its not like he had many intriguing lines anyway.Casting actors with a bit of musical backgrounds is not stuntcasting, IMHO. And none of them carry the cache that Sheeren does.
Outside of arya opening, it was all setup and transition. The hound showing a bit of guilt was surprising to me.Terribly boring episode. Nothing fucking happened...
They lie to you.I'm 55, so I understand why I wouldn't have heard of him, but I have a 17 year-old male in our household and he never heard of him either. In fact, there are seven total people in our household (three with musical backgrounds), and none of them heard of the guy.
I'm fairly certain the gift will be Tyrion.Agreed nothing mindblowing, but the story was advanced in a few ways, and I enjoyed it:
- The Hound's new connection with fire (wow...fire of all things!) and the Lord of Light which points his party to Eastwatch by the Sea is important.
- The two massive sea fleets now being very close in proximity to one another is pretty important.**
- Sam finding a major source of dragonglass is very important.
- Jorah being at the Citadel and meeting Sam on the other side of the door is important (Sam gonna find a cure for Jorah?)
- Tormund talking about going to Eastwatch by the Sea..... shit's about to go down at that location with both Tormund & party and The Hound & party going there to take on the army of the dead.
The episode had too much of Sam cleaning poop and doing other mundane Citadel chores.... and Arya drinking with the boys from the Lannister army was sorta a wasted use of precious film time.
**A major sea battle is possibly coming soon..... is this where Euron Greyjoy will collect his gift for Cersei?..... I don't think the gift for Cersei will be Tyrion..... but perhaps a dragon's head?!?!
He's is a huge celebrity. Thanks for giving the name. I never heard of the guy. I just Googled the name and it appears he is a musical performer from Britain.
He's not exactly a household name... I would say that such a minor celebrity would not be considered as stuntcasting.
that's my guess.I'm fairly certain the gift will be Tyrion.
that's my guess.
I am willing to bet Jamie kills Euron after that scene played out.
Is that the same dude who was playing Euron in previous seasons?
