That game was there for the taking. I thought we deserved to win it. Montreal was lucky to even get a point. Their first goal was probably the most fortunate bounce I've seen all season long. They had nobody near the puck and it deflected in from a silly angle. Then we tied it 10 seconds later...Lol

Ghost made the key scoring play of the game however with the primary assist on the goal by Raffl after Raffl himself caused the turnover. I also thought Neuvy should've had the power play shot by Pacioretty, then he gives up two "goals" that were both high glove in the shootout after we were ahead 1-0 and with two shooters remaining to their one.

I hate to say it, but their captain got the better of our captain. G was in the box (again...) when Pacioretty tied it in the 3rd and then G had the game on his stick in the shootout and he couldn't seal it. Pacioretty had to respond to keep it going and he did just that. He even showed Byron where to put the next one. High glove.

This is a tough pill to swallow, but we've been saying this shit all season long. Fuck Montreal. At least we still have a puncher's chance at the playoffs. Despite the two points, they are about toast.
