How the da F did we lose gm 1 if we're playing like this?

Teds is going to have a good season... a better one if he's on a line w/o Zubs IMO... he can work with Clarkson but he needs an Elias or a Sykora or a Kovy...... the way Teds play and sets up, he needs someone who can skate around to find an open hole for a feed.

Lol, we didn't play like this AT ALL on Saturday. This was 100% improvement over Saturday. Looked pretty good out there today.

NO doubt. This is more what we all expected to see. Parise looked like Parise, Kovy with 3 points and a game winner, Larsson looks like a 28 year old vet, not an 18 year old rookie. Hopefully they aren't jeckyl/Hyde all year and today is more indicative of what we can expect going forward.

Got to give them a few weeks though. You cant start judging a team after the first week of the season.

Excited to see them develop and grow as a team throughout the first month under DeBoer. We know how important every point is.

I can't believe how many minutes Larsson is logging too. Unreal. And that's with them not using him on the PK. He could be going over 30 if he was doing that.

Caught Devils in 60 during my break, sweet rebound goal from Kovy.....

Still believe Zubs needs to be removed from away Teds and insert him into the Parise line. May sound stupid, but a big body guy is what Parise and Elias needs. Sykora could go crazy with Teds IMO...

but we'll see.

Need more of a sample size to judge by, but the way they played on Monday was encouraging.

Carolina is a bad team.

Faulk was horrible in that game and was a key member in the Devils win. The other guys weren't as bad but he was playing at a NCAA level.

I hope Merrill doesn't get rushed into the NHL because play that bad could really hurt development
