Last day of the regular season and still plenty has to be decided. The NL Central, AL Central and AL Wildcard.

Really hoping for some 2011-type pandemonium. Would love three game-163's but will settle for 1 or 2.

Tomorrow is gonna be awesome. It's just a goddamn shame it's on Sunday so most Americans will be focused on another sport.

Pittsburgh at Cincy - Cole vs Cueto
Cards at D-Backs - Wainwright vs Collmenter

AL Central
Twins at Tigers - Gibson vs Price
Royals at White Sox - Ventura vs Bassitt

AL Wildcard
A's at Rangers - Gray vs Martinez
Angels at M's - Rasmus vs King Felix

Baseball rules are so stupid.

Why should the Tigers have to play KC if they end up tied? They need to go by H2H match-ups when both teams already have clinched a playoffs spot. Detroit went 13-5 against KC and there is no need for them to play again if they end up tied.

I like the one game playoff. Even if it's just for positioning. Makes an exciting twist to the end of the season.

I like it tbh since it makes the race more exciting. H2H should be counted towards who gets the home field advantage for the tie breaker not who should make it to the playoffs.

Honestly I'd be surprised if we see any game 163.

Royals and Ms with Ventura and King Felix going should both win but I really don't see my twins getting to Price again in a do or die(plus Gibson too streaky) and sonny gray vs Texas is still nice no matter how it's gone.

Now id be shocked if wainwright loses to begin with and even if he does pirates have to score on Cueto.

But who knows, it's baseball. Hopefully things get crazy.

I, for one, am rooting for Pit and against StL tomorrow. However, even if a 163 is not forced, they are both burning their Ace, so I like the Giants chances on Wednesday.

AL Wildcard #2 will come down to the M's ability to hit when it counts and whether Texas can stay hot when their last game doesn't matter.

I've also heard they might throw Derek Holland instead of Martinez. I sure hope so.

I sure as hell didn't, A's get to save Lester for K.C. still going to be a hoslite envroment and the A's are a struggling club but if they can win that game then they might just get hot/lucky/fluky.

Thanks lots of luck will be needed for Oakland to make noise in the post season.

Credit to the Mariners and an indictment on the Athetlics for this thing being so close, I believe the A's went 22 - 33 after the trade deadline.

Yeah A's did struggle down the stretch... But hey that's the beauty of the playoffs, none of that matters now... You get in you got a chance...
