Is anyone nervous about this game? I just cant see UVa winning. Beating FSU does not impress me, they are undisciplined and cannot run the ball. And the extra couple of days VT had to prepare and/or get healthy will be nice.

I was not impressed by the FSU win...for the reasons you stated, plus HOW they won....that being said, I am still a little nervous about this game

I'm not to nervous either. While their D is decent, with David Wilson keeping them honest up front, their secondary cant handle Boykin, Coale, and Coles LLC when all 3 are on the field at the same time. Someone is bound to be open

How can any Hokie be scared of the Hoos? I mean has the last decade just been erased from your memories?

Last I spoke with Andrew Miller's father, he didn't think he would play against UVA. Said they were going to do an MRI for his hip I believe. Evidently it has been bothering him for a little while as Andrew said he probably shouldn't have played against UNC and when he got rolled up on during the game it was re-aggravated. Also said he did have a twisted ankle, but from what I gathered, his hip was the main thing.

Pretty much all our games have been won ugly this year. Even games where we won by a bunch haven't been pretty. We shouldn't be criticizing others on style points.

OMG, a level-headed Hokie. I can't believe my eyes.

UVA football...A tradition since last Saturday!

Yeah, because the 40 thousand fans that have attended every game this year are just now jumping on the bandwagon! smdh

Not scared, but anybody can have a good or bad day.

UVA isnt as bad as they have been IMO. Their O & D lines are pretty good, they feature a couple good RB's, and Lazor is prob one of the better oC's we will see this year.

Lets say 10k are opposing fans. Are you really bragging about having your stadium half full?

No, you totally missed my point. Even though we have been terrible the past 2 seasons, we have still had at least 40,000 diehard fans that have made it to every game. Also, the only opposing fans that travel well are VT fans. As a matter of fact, the biggest turn out I can recall in the past 5 years other than VT fans were ECU fans. They actually had fans in their lower level section, as well as fans in their section in the upper deck(I think section 531). Other than VT, no other teams can say that.

I'm not nervous that UVA can beat us, I'm nervous that we beat ourselves. If we play like we are capable of (Miami, GT, last 3 quarters of WF) I have no doubts in my mind we'll win easily. However, I'm worried we'll get one of those games like we had against Clemson (and ECU...and Duke). If that happens, who knows. There's no rhyme or reason to why can seem so Jekyll and Hyde. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for reiterating my point.

i couldnt care less about your point, i was LOL @ 40k and the fact that even though your team has "bounced back" ticket sales are dwindling. BTW that is tickets sold, not who actually shows up.

+ when a ticket is 10-20$ and that gets you a hotdog, drink, zima poster, dinner with mike london, etc etc etc, it shouldnt surprise you that people buy them.
