They haven't announced it yet, I think I heard they might announce it tomorrow morning, but I'm not certain about that

I would give the C to Mike Brown, with the A's to Burns and Hertl. But that's just me.

Also of note, the last time the Kings had a season opener with a banner raising, their opponent went on to win the Cup that season.

So, what I'm basically saying is bet the house on the Sharks to win it all this year.

I had forgotten that the NHL scheduled the Sharks to be the Kings home opener opponent. Now I get to start the season with a stark reminder of the biggest choke job in the history of a franchise that has it's share of glorious choke jobs.

Good news is the players already have their rings. That should shorten the pre game nonsense. They are still expecting it to be 30 minutes of Hollywood happenings.
While I will love most of it, I am sure it will just anger the Sharks players when they play the highlights of each round.

I remember watching that game. Seeing them skate the cup before the season pissed me off to no end.

Lets hope they don't do that again.
