We have no 1st rounder but over all we have too many picks.
Looking at many of the positions, after the 1st or 1st few picks, there is no clear cut order of best picks.
This will result in a lot of confusion. It will result in a lot of good picks available in later rounds.
This draft should be a circus!!!!!!

I like Reynolds.
He can catch, he can run, and he can even throw a bit. Everybody has been linking the Pats with Braxton Miller, Reynolds is another that I would like to see.

Need the DoD to agree too.
Patriots signing of long-snapper Yount says something about Navy's Joe Cardona's future and will have to be considered when evaluating Keenan Reynolds situation.

Cardona focused on Navy commitment after rookie campaign

Patriots sign linebacker Steward, long snapper Yount

It is possible that Yount will be used in practice until Cardona can return from his Navy job.

Keenan Reynolds drafted by Baltimore after Belichick had been told by Navy that he would not be able to play!

Next move? Baltimore cuts Reynolds Patriots pick him up on waivers and put him on IR.....
Bad blood continues!

I was wondering how that would all go for Reynolds with him having something like a 5-year commitment still to the Navy. Good chance he misses at least the first 2-years here.

Navy doesn't just "roll over" on these commitments. With all that is spent on recruiting, you'd think they would be flexible for the advertising. I tried to get the Army to sponsor me back in my day. They told me, "you're a welder, a welder is what you'll be"
I work with the Navy nowadays. I work with a lot of young officers who have plans - they finish their commitments first.....

The military invests approx. $150,000 per year in every military cadet. The requirement when I was in the Navy was 1-1/2 back for every year of education and the college counts toward your enlistment. You get four years of education and have to give them back 6 more. When this term is finished you've got 10 years active service and the military is hoping you'll give them 10-20 more.

The point most people forget is that it's taxpayer money and is funded by congress. You want the education, do the time requirements. Or go to Alabama or Michigan.......never mind, you wouldn't make their starting team.
