Im thinking he is going to have to do a little shopping to guage his real value at this point. He is talking a big game, but the Redskins are holding most of the aces in this hand of poker. And he and his agent know this. So unless one of our division rivals decides to make him an offer we wont match, it comes down to play in DC, or dont play.

This is an Emmitt Smith situation. The Cowboys had the right to match any offer so teams didn't make offers because that would be doing the negotiating for them. This should be an interesting situation, let's see how it plays out.

OLB Junior Galette has hired Drew Rosenhaus to represent him. Still hoping to return to Redskins, who also have right of first refusal.

I think we should pass if he is looking for a big paycheck. Smith will continue to develop I feel.

Shop the market, Junior. You didn't play a down, have off-the-field issues, are coming off of a major knee issue, and have a HUGE redskins tat on your shoulder. I'm thinkin' you'll sign for a little more than the vet minimum, after you find no substantial offers in free agency.

Let's PLAY THE FUED!!!

I see Gallette signing with us. He is just trying to do his best to get fair value. The guy did have double digit sack season in 13' and 14' before getting hurt last year. If you look at what he cowboys gave Greg Hardy($8M, but it was primarily incentives). I think Gallette is looking for something in the ball park of $2M base with incentives, so he can potentially make $4M-5M a year(if he plays all 16 games, has double digit sacks, makes pro bowl, etc).

I have no problem with Gallette's approach. No matter what we end up agreeing to with him, it will essentially be a 1 year commitment from us, even if its a 2 to 3 year deal on paper.
