Couple of points

Galette has had 4 agents so far

The latest one he just fired is Scots agent currently

Wants a 1 year deal 'that's fair'

Personally, I think Junior has an inflated sense of himself given his issues off the field, his performance 2/3 years ago and coming off an Achilles.

Junior Galette, unhappy with contract negotiations, fires agent

I'm not so sure this is just jockeying. This guy needs another dose of reality. 4 agents in 6 years tells me a lot. He is heading toward the open market. I say let him explore. He will be back.

Word is, he turned down a multi year deal the Skins were offering him. He wants a one year deal so he can try to really cash in going into 2017.

Also get the feeling he fired his agent because he felt having the same agent as our GM some how meant his agent wasnt looking out for his best interest over the teams best interest. I can sort of see how that would be the way he could see it. An agent looking out for all his interests over just one player.

The beauty of it is, we have right of first refusal. So it might come down to letting some one else do all the heavy lifting of setting up a contract, and we just have to decide if we want him at that price.

Let him test the market. We've got the right of first refusal. If he can land a fat contract that we can't match, more power to him.
