Don't be a jabroni.
Game day again, 730pm on FDS. Just picked up my daughter after her HS softball game (politics I learned), got some carne asada tacos and settled in for the night to watch from home.
Big test tonight, Vegas is in PD1 with 74 points while the Kings are in PD3 with 68. Not unreachable but at this point in the season unless Vegas goes on a skid I don't see LA taking PD1. The Kings do have games in hand (3 including tonight) so it's the proverbial 4 point game.
Nothing new to report, same lineup tonight as against Utah so expect the 11/7 again. Kuemper most likely to start yet again, woild have liked to see Rittich in this game. Expecting Clarke to get minimal minutes again, just trade this guy for an area of need.
Vegas beat Vanloser 3-1 on Saturday night so they did the Kings a favor, hopefully LA can take advantage of that tonight. Only significant injury for Vegas is Theodore who was injured as we know in the tournament off a hit by Kempe. TDL isn't too far away, color me shocked of we see him hit LTIR this week and all of a sudden Tuch returns to Vegas or another big name. Vegas definitely swings for the fences and moves players zero Fs given no matter how popular or good they are/were. Or Stone may get an inflamed vagina tonight and end on LTIR too.
All in all, I do think they are the superior team so the Kings take a home ice hit tonight - prediction 3-2 with goals by Kopitar, Edmundson and Fiala. No off the wall predictions tonight like Lewis last game. Buster gets the obligatory pity assist after the game and stat sheets are corrected.
Let's Go Kings!
