Don't be a jabroni.
It's game day, 4pm start on KCAL. Junior has a baseball scrimmage until 3pm, quick trip to the store for buns (making burgers tonight) so should be able to catch the whole game.
No update on Anderson so we don't know if he will be in tonight. No skate was held so I'd assume it's the same line up as Thursday with Kuemper going in. The Kings used the 12/6 Thursday and being the end of a 0-3-1 road trip I'd expect that to account for fatigue. But Jill sure loves his 11/7 so who knows. Defense pairings will be jumbled if Anderson is out.
We get to see Rantanen tonight which is always scary, seems like he owns the Kings. The Canes are 7-1-2 in their last 10 while the Kings are 2-7-1.
That my friends is officially a skid, Calgary is 1 point behind LA in WC2 and Vancouver is 2. The Flames play the Wings at 7pm on ESPN+, keep an eye on that game. The Canucks not on the schedule tonight.
The offense averaged 1.69 GPG in January, that is awful. The only two guys who somewhat even helped were Kempe and Fiala. Everyone else, completely evaporated. Clarke is still an unknown even with the potential Anderson missing, just put him up fromt and scratch one of Lewis or Moore. Won't hurt.
Prediction: Kings whimper home with a 0-4-1 road trip losing 5-2. Kings goals by Laferriere and Spence.
Let's Go Kings!
