Don't be a jabroni.
Right back at it today, still dealing with my boss in town so I'll be dropping him off at John Wayne and then kid pick up so I won't be able to catch the first period or so I'm assuming. Game time is 4pm and on FDS. Pucky.Jr I has baseball practice 730-9pm so I should be able to catch most of the game while making dinner in between and then hit the field with him.
Nothing new to report, looks like the same lineup as last night. Rittich to start with Kuemper going last night. Tail end of an abysmal road trip so far so expecting 12/6 to spread minutes out.
Doughty was thrown right back in playing 24 minutes last night, the whole "ease him in" plan clearly out the window. I think he will go again and Clarke will be scratched again, clear admission of reset from Jill from what I've read. Dude can't play D, just scratch Moore and let Mr Rover go do his thing up front. Kings need goals from anywhere, even the cleaning crew right about now.
The Lightning are also on a mini skid, losing four of the last five. You know what that means, they'll be coming out hard especially at home. Kucherov didn't practice yesterday for a maintenance day but is expected in the line up tonight.
Prediction: hard fought but another Kings loss 3-2 in OT. Kings goals by Kopitar and Laferriere, this one counting. The slide continues and it's officially time to panic.
Let's Go Kings!
