Game Thread: G4 WCQF Kings vs Oilers 4/28/24

Game day, I got all my crap done today and will be able to watch. Couldn't get 3 tickets next to each other for the boys and I so home it is.

Not going to say much, need a win. Kings go down, this series is over. G3 was alarming, same stuff rearing its head. Cannot have a start like that, cannot have a finish like that. I hope Rittich gets the start, Talbot is leaking goals no matter how the play is in front of him. He is done and off his game.

I don't feel good guys, please help me here.

Big save Dave in net. While Talbot has let in quite a few easy ones, he did make some great saves too. That said, unless Kings special teams come to play or they stay out of the box I dont see Dave making any difference. Wish i could give you hope @PuckinUgly57 but my Oil in 5 looks solid.

Dude if they go down in 5, it's straight up regression - 7, 6, 5. How do you justify that having a capped out team? You can't.

Like I said earlier, I hope they go down in a ball of flames simply because the Bluc problem needs to be addressed and there is no hiding at that point.

I just cannot understand what these 2 did to this team. The culture. The attitude. Bringing in weak players.

They are built similar to the Leafs unfortunately, a bit less skill than Tor. If Tor would have gotten a couple solid D and a decent G instead of pajama boy thet probably would have made a couple good runs in the last 7 ish years.

Good period for LA. Loved DD layout of Hyman and Kempe taking care of McJesus. Perfect times for those hits, dont want to get to far out of position for a hit while the Oil move yo put it in your net. I hope they keep it going like this, make it fast, make it aggressive....if LA slows it up Edmonton will eat em up.....again

Just got home from Ontario Mills and me and the kids ate at Soup and Fresh, a knock off reboot of Soup Plantation. Totally approve but 40 ninute wait to even walk in the door.

1-0 isn't bad, but if they lose this game it shows Edmonton can play any type of game you want and LA truly cannot compete with these guys. I think that would be even more devastating than losing 7-3.

Good lord, get one at least here boys...

Wow...I'm glad I missed most of this game. What I did see was terrible. This team has no heart, no guts, no balls, whatever you want to call it.
