Don't be a jabroni.
Another game day being the second of the B2B against Edmonton yesterday. It's a 6pm start time on FDS, going to make some pasta and enjoy the game at home.
Nothing new to report except Rittich most likely the starter with Kuemper playing yesterday. I would have flipped the goalies with Kuemper in tonight, he looked a little shaky yesterday but I isn't the coach. Last game of 2024, looking forward to 2025 being better for all.
Looks like they may run the 11/7 again, Arty Retardy and Englund around should they choose to go 12/6. I'm expecting to see Kaliyev tonight, no real reason - just a hunch. I think they'll give him a game in 2024 and this is a good opportunity.
Flyers also on a B2B having played Anaheim yesterday so minimal travel for both teams. I remember when the Kings were called Flyers West because of the trades, staff, etc all seemingly finding their way to the other franchise and how the teams were built. Flyers have some good young talent, Foerster having a monster game against LA when they met almost 2 weeks ago but both teams now built different.
Prediction: Kings close out 2024 with a 4-1 win. Goals by Kempe, Buster, Spence and Jeannot.
Let's Go Kings!
