The Oscars, like the Emmy's & Grammy's have all but become nothing but popularity contests these last 15-20 years unfortunately, with exceptions that are few and far between.


But Hollywood and pop culture is what it is...accolades notwithstanding.

No, its not because I just watched Hawkeye. Ok, maybe it is but its still true.

I have not seen either in anything else (I think??), but I am actually REALLY put off by Pugh’s Russian accent. And as someone else said n one of the MCU threads, Steinfeld is just kinda there, letting Renner do ALL the heavy lifting (I am really enjoying the show, but that doesn’t mean it it works for me in every single aspect).
